Searching Posts
Post search lets you find any post across your council without having to scroll through the full list. Results show the matched text highlighted in context alongside the post date and author.
Searching for Posts
Step 1: Open the Search Page
From the Posts Overview page, click Search Posts.
Step 2: Enter a Search Term
Type any word or phrase into the search box and click Search. The search matches against post titles, body content, author names, and image alt text — all case-insensitively.
Step 3: Review Results
Matching posts are listed with the date created, post title, author, and a highlighted excerpt showing where the match was found. Click Edit on any result to open that post.
Tips
- Partial words work — searching “break” will match “breakfast”
- Body text is searched — the full post content is searched, not just the title
- Results are sorted newest first — the most recently created posts appear at the top
